4月4日加拿大萨斯喀彻温省（萨省）移民部门更新了紧缺职业 (Occupation In-Demand) 省提名项目下的紧缺职业列表。新添加的13个职业中有多个非常适合中国申请人，包括健身教练，面包糕点师，裁缝，交互媒体开发人员，以及会计等。
不需雇主担保，外加有些紧缺职业甚至不需要职业认证，让萨省的紧缺职业省提名成为了非常有竞争力的移民加拿大渠道之一。
萨省紧缺职业省提名是基于意愿制省提名项目。达到条件的申请人需要向萨省提交Expression of Interest(EOI), 并在收到邀请后才可以提交省提名申请材料。换句话说，申请人还需要凭借自身的语言/工作经历/教育等实力排名来竞争省提名的申请。
萨省紧缺职业省提名基本要求
- 过去10年有至少1年相关工作经验，且工作职位在稀缺职位列表上；
- 语言能力达到CLB 4 或更高 （雅思G类 4.5/4/3.5/4）；
- 拥有直接相关学历且已完成教育认证；
- 如果需要职业认证，申请时已获得职业认证；
- 萨省筛选系统EOI分数达到最低60分，满分100.
另外，除了传统的省提名申请方式，萨省也支持通过EE的紧缺职业省提名申请。前提条件是需要满足EE内不同移民渠道（技术/经验/技工）的最低要求并建立档案，因而通过EE申请就要同时满足萨省和EE的最低要求。
